Autograph diary of a two-month tour of Germany and Austria taken by Lydia Glyn with "Mama, Papa, and Etta." The journal records their travel schedule, sightseeing and sketching expeditions, Lydia's appreciative reaction to the art and historical items in the many museums and churches the family visited, and her enjoyment of entertainments such as hearing Strauss' band play waltzes and quadrilles in an outdoor cafe and attending a concert of Tyrolean singers.
